Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work?
We'll invite you to Trello board where you can add as many design projects as you'd like to a backlog, choose the one you want me to design next, and move to "Approved" column, as it's done.
What is the turnaround time on design request?
It’s fairly quick for the simple design requests. When you request a design, it is entered into your design queue. We work through your design queue on a first-come, first-served basis.
On average, most clients receive their request within a few business days. In some cases, it may take longer depending on the complexity of the request.
Do I have to wait days for revisions?
We'd like to complete small revisions right away so that we can move to your next project or design request. But for larger rounds of revisions, or addendums to the original request, may take another few days, on average.
What is "1 task per day"?
Every business day our designers will update the ongoing tasks or switch to a new one. If you have several tasks to be done at the same time, you can scale the subscription plan to your needs.
How does the pause feature work?
We understand you may not have enough design work to fill up entire month. Perhaps you only have one or two design requests at the moment. That's where pausing your subscription comes in handy.
Why wouldn't I just hire a full time designer?
Good question! To begin with, the annual cost of a full-time senior level designer now exceeds $100,000, plus benefits, infrastructure, retention & hiring cost. (Besides, good luck finding one). Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilise.
What does ‘unlimited design” really means?
It means you can submit as many design request to your design queue day or night and your designer will work through them one by one.
What if I only have one single request?
That's fine. You can pause your subscription when finished and return when you have additional design needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.
Do you take meetings or are you on Slack?
No. Working with us is asynchronous. The less time we spend in meetings and messaging, the more time we have to design your projects. All correspondence takes place alongside your projects on Trello.
